ASHEBORO—Directors of Regional Consolidated Services (RCS) have reelected Maria Bliss of Asheboro as president of the human services agency for another year.
Bliss and other officers were chosen at the board of directors quarterly meeting Tuesday, October 21. They officially will begin one-year terms when RCS holds its annual dinner meeting November 18.
Nan Revell will continue as vice president, Phillip Shore, as secretary and Blaine Ward will be installed as treasurer. Four directors who joined the board during the summer attended the quarterly session. They are: Daffie Mathews, Stacy Miller, Shawn Mabe, and Ben Morgan.
Bliss, retired supervisor of elections in Randolph County, has served on the RCS board since January of 1999. In 2006, she was honored with the agency’s annual Humanitarian Award while serving as vice president. She succeeded the Reverend Larry Stines in the president’s office.
