ASHEBORO—Volunteer members on the staff of Regional Consolidated Services (RCS) of Asheboro will park cars at five separate sites during Asheboro’s annual Fall Festival.

            Sponsored by the Randolph Arts Guild, the Festival will be held in downtown Asheboro Saturday and Sunday, October 4-5. The time-honored event attracts thousands to the city’s main thoroughfares to welcome in the Fall season.

            RCS staffers, participating in a fundraising effort to benefit the agency’s operating fund, will offer public parking spaces at sites convenient to the Festival’s many attractions. The charge will be $2.00 per car, the agency’s traditional fee.

            Surveillance will be provided at the following locations:

            RCS Main Office, 221 S. Fayetteville Street (enter via Cranford Street off S. Cox);

            Community One Bank lot adjoining RCS parking area;

            Community One Bank lot, South side of bank’s branch building at 137 S. Fayetteville St.;

            Main Office, Randolph Bank and Trust Company, 115 N. Fayetteville Street;

            Roberts Realty lot, S. Cox Street near Academy Street.

            Festival goers should note that one-way traffic on Cranford Street is suspended during the event, making parking at Community One and RCS areas more accessible.

            RCS personnel will be on duty at all five sites from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4, and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 5.
